The Coldstream Guards offers six highly competitive officer commissions each year to outstanding candidates who demonstrate their potential at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

A commission in the Coldstream Guards is a challenging and immensely rewarding opportunity. Officers lead from the front on operations, exercise, adventure training, during routine in barracks, and on state ceremonial public duties, upholding the standards of the oldest continuously serving regiment in the British Army.

We seek individuals with leadership potential, strong character, academic ability and physical robustness.

There is no single background required — we welcome interest from candidates at any stage, whether at school, university or in employment, and we actively seek a broad range of characters and skillsets.
